An intimate gathering, in celebration of the beauty in each of our voices!
Exploring the honey like sound of our own voices, we will gather in a small group of 5 to 9 beloveds, for a full weekend in Las Vegas of sound bathing.
In order to allow valuable personal time between Karnamrita Dasi and each participants voice, we will keep the group to a small size.
There will be an opportunity for each person to have a private one on one voice session with Karnamrita, focusing on vocal technique and personal direction, as well as group vocal classes. Kirtan will be our way of gathering our voices together: thus understanding how this mystical form of art, through vocal practice, in fact opens up the Nada Yoga center.
Please come to join us for a weekend; allowing ourselves to merge into ONE voice, allowing ourselves to find our real, open, honey voice, and diving into the tradition and subtlety of vocal culture combined with Bhakti Yoga… for there is no real voice awakening, without understanding the heart of kirtan.
We will be playing with our voices in many different ways; one of which will be rising early to take note of how the voice is so precious in those hours, how it is able to open with ease, how the early morning Ragas effect our voice, and how our listening at that hour is refined. The meditation is easy at this hour; explore how our voices root us back into practices that are for our well being as well as a profession.
